Hospitality Apprenticeship in Inverness

Here, you’ll learn every aspect of the hospitality industry, from housekeeping to hotel management. Then, while you work, you’ll also complete training and attend masterclasses that cover multiple hotel operational areas.

Our hotel traineeship will also include bespoke Masterclasses and Learning Journeys which will be delivered by leading hotel industry professionals. Here, you can learn about the different stages of careers from people who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Our hospitality apprenticeship at the Kingsmills Hotel runs for two years, with the option to carry on for a third year. Also, you’ll have the chance to visit Learning Journey destinations in Europe where you’ll go on tours, learn about wine pairings and much more.
Experience in multiple operational areas
Whether you’re dreaming of becoming a top chef at our Kingsmills restaurants or want to run your own luxury hotel, this hospitality apprenticeship differs from others. So, rather than focus on one sector of the industry, the Scottish Apprenticeship in Hospitality offers training and experience across several. You’ll start with housekeeping, learning how this busy department works. Then, you’ll work in Food and Operations, which is great if you want to pursue a catering apprenticeship. Next, you’ll spend time in kitchen operations, where you’ll have an insight into kitchen operations and a chef apprenticeship. Finally, you’ll finish with training in Front of House, gaining knowledge on presentation, customer service and management. Then, upon graduation, you’ll receive your Level 2 SVQ in Hospitality Services.
