A historic Highland retreat
Originally built in 1785 as a grand house, our hotel is steeped in Scottish history. It was here in 1787 that Scotland’s best-loved poet, Robert Burns, found inspiration while staying in Inverness. Since becoming a hotel in 1946, the Kingsmills has welcomed guests from all over the world, embracing our Highland heritage while evolving into a haven of sustainable luxury.
